Allison has account management experience on both the broker and carrier side of the insurance industry, making her background invaluable to CapFi. She reviews and analyzes employee benefits programs, negotiates carrier agreements and renewals and strategizes with our client and executive teams.

Before joining CapFi, she served as the Regional Account Manager at a national vision insurance company. She also worked as a primary key account contact for multiple Arizona municipalities, school districts and private employers.

Brandon Wight

Brandon, a partner at CapFi, has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and benefits industries. Based in Washington state, he's focused on expanding CapFi's footprint in the Pacific Northwest region by developing long-term partnerships with carriers and vendors who are crucial to CapFi's success.

Before joining CapFi, Brandon was the president of employee benefits at Montgomery & Graham. He has also held management and sales positions for CIGNA and Great-West Life. Brandon earned his bachelor's degree in public relations and business from Brigham Young University.

Brandon and his family live in Camas, WA, just outside of his hometown of Portland, OR. He enjoys coaching and officiating high school basketball and being an active member of his church.

His background in life and disability insurance complements his benefits management expertise, giving him a unique perspective into working with vendors and taking care of clients and their employees.

As a partner and Special Projects Director at CapFi, Dave supports the account teams in putting together cost-effective benefits packages for our clients. He also has a pulse on the latest industry trends and resources, allowing him to help employees and their families get the coverage they need.

Dave grew up in Indiana and attended Indiana State University but has since been an Arizonan along with his family. He loves travel, golf, and spending time with his grandkids.

After starting her career in sales, Gina changed course to the benefits industry where she has excelled in various client services and account management roles. Her impressive background makes her an integral part of our team.

As a senior account executive at CapFi, Gina designs comprehensive employee benefits programs and builds relationships with clients and vendors. Before joining us, she served as VP of Health & Benefits at a brokerage firm in Scottsdale.

Gina is originally from the Kansas City area and attended the University of Kansas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health. After undergrad, she got her license in life and health insurance—paving the way for a promising career in this industry.

Gina now lives in Scottsdale with her family. She loves watching her two favorite teams — Kansas University basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. Gina also enjoys traveling to get to know diverse cultures and cuisines.

With more than 20 years serving in the self-funded health insurance space as an intermediary between brokers and insurers, Jared has been a leader in his previous roles including being named one of the top performers in the country during his tenure with Cigna.

Prior to employee benefit services, Jared earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He is an outdoor enthusiast and has called Arizona home for more than 20 years. Jared and his wife have three sons and one daughter.

She managed clients of all different sizes and sectors at her prior firm as Vice President of Employee Benefits. Julie and her husband live in Scottsdale. She is a volunteer at her church and likes to spend her free time outdoors, camping in the pines of Arizona.

Before joining CapFi, Justin held various roles in the insurance industry, including client advisor, broker, and sales. He earned his bachelor's degree in business analytics from Grand Canyon University and is licensed in property and casualty (P&C) insurance as well as life and health (L&H).

Justin, a lifelong Arizona resident, loves spending time with his family and learning new skills. He also enjoys working on his golf game on the many courses Arizona has to offer.

She grew up in Camas, WA, which is where she raised her three daughters and where she lives today. Mandy loves to volunteer at her church, travel, hit the beach, and flex her cornhole skills at family tournaments.

Before joining CapFi, Melissa gained valuable customer service skills while working on the sales team for a small brokerage firm and learning the ins and outs of the benefits industry. After that role, she was a manager for a floral shop for many years, where she developed her expertise in event planning and balancing customer needs with business objectives.

Melissa, who was born and raised in Oregon, received her business administration degree from Oregon State University. She still lives in her home state today with her family.

Outside of work, you might catch Melissa at a Seattle Mariners game. She also loves traveling, gardening, and bowling.

Prior to joining CapFi, Pamela managed HR teams for companies in the auto and medical industries. She then transitioned to the insurance space, where she earned her insurance license and specialized in account management. Her diverse background gives her unique insight into how to balance employee benefits and costs effectively, making her a great fit for us and our clients.

Pamela is originally from Salt Lake City but now resides in Phoenix with her daughter. Outside of work, Pamela enjoys golfing, reading murder mysteries, and indulging her love of cars.

When he realized that many districts were being underserviced by their benefits consultants, he decided to start his own firm – Capital Financial, PLC was founded in 2006. Since then, he has led business development for the company.

Phil graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has served as President on the university's Board of Alumni. He resides in Scottsdale with his wife and three children. Outside of the office, he is a car enthusiast and likes to golf.

Shannon is the resident expert for all benefits-related coverage programs, having nearly two decades as an employee benefits marketing and proposal analyst. Her background includes roles for both large brokerages and small agencies, and she is licensed in life and health insurance in Arizona. In addition to creating renewal presentations for our clients, Shannon sends out RFPs and analyzes quotes for final proposals.

Shannon enjoys hiking, photography and travel. She lives in Goodyear with her husband and two sons.

Steven Nikolov has over 15 years of public and private CFO/Accounting experience. He graduated from ASU with a Bachelors in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business and began working as a CFO for a prominent contracting company upon graduating. Later he joined a Top 10 Public Accounting Firm to focus on the consulting CFO model.

After seeing the shortcomings of the big accounting firms, he decided to start his own successful consulting/fractional CFO firm in 2020, Onyx Accounting Group. Since then, he has had the privilege of engaging many clients across multiple industries including construction, non-profit, logistics, food service/packaging, professional services, and real estate.

Steven's hobbies include Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, keeping up with F1 racing, going to comedy shows and spending time with his wife and daughter.
