Allison has account management experience on both the broker and carrier side of the insurance industry, making her background invaluable to CapFi. She reviews and analyzes employee benefits programs, negotiates carrier agreements and renewals and strategizes with our client and executive teams.
Before joining CapFi, she served as the Regional Account Manager at a national vision insurance company. She also worked as a primary key account contact for multiple Arizona municipalities, school districts and private employers.
Brandon, a partner at CapFi, has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and benefits industries. Based in Washington state, he's focused on expanding CapFi's footprint in the Pacific Northwest region by developing long-term partnerships with carriers and vendors who are crucial to CapFi's success.
Before joining CapFi, Brandon was the president of employee benefits at Montgomery & Graham. He has also held management and sales positions for CIGNA and Great-West Life. Brandon earned his bachelor's degree in public relations and business from Brigham Young University.
Brandon and his family live in Camas, WA, just outside of his hometown of Portland, OR. He enjoys coaching and officiating high school basketball and being an active member of his church.
Dave has been immersed in our industry for 25+ years, covering just about every facet of the business. His background in life and disability insurance complements his benefits management expertise, giving him a unique perspective into working with vendors and taking care of clients and their employees.
As a partner and Special Projects Director at CapFi, Dave supports the account teams in putting together cost-effective benefits packages for our clients. He also has a pulse on the latest industry trends and resources, allowing him to help employees and their families get the coverage they need.
Dave grew up in Indiana and attended Indiana State University but has since been an Arizonan along with his family. He loves travel, golf, and spending time with his grandkids.
Jared brings a diverse background in comprehensive insurance strategies to the CapFi team. With more than 20 years serving in the self-funded health insurance space as an intermediary between brokers and insurers, Jared has been a leader in his previous roles including being named one of the top performers in the country during his tenure with Cigna.
Prior to employee benefit services, Jared earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He is an outdoor enthusiast and has called Arizona home for more than 20 years. Jared and his wife have three sons and one daughter.
Julie brings a wealth of expertise to CapFi, with nearly two decades of experience working in the insurance and financial services industry. She managed clients of all different sizes and sectors at her prior firm as Vice President of Employee Benefits. Her attention to detail at CapFi allows her to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with our clients.
Julie and her husband live in Scottsdale. She is a volunteer at her church and likes to spend her free time outdoors, camping in the pines of Arizona.
Justin makes an immediate impact on our account services team, with his natural ability to keep our clients' needs at the heart of everything he does. At CapFi, he specializes in small group benefits, helping our clients understand their options when it comes to offering benefits packages to their employees. He also knows how to develop and maintain valuable relationships, which is key to our company's success.
Before joining CapFi, Justin held various roles in the insurance industry, including client advisor, broker, and sales. He earned his bachelor's degree in business analytics from Grand Canyon University and is licensed in property and casualty (P&C) insurance as well as life and health (L&H).
Justin, a lifelong Arizona resident, loves spending time with his family and learning new skills. He also enjoys working on his golf game on the many courses Arizona has to offer.
Kathy is an Account Coordinator with nearly two decades of customer service and sales experience. She is skilled at working with a wide variety of clients, which is a huge help as we serve a range of companies in the private and public sectors. Kathy helps our Account Management team in any way she can, ensuring our clients have what they need to provide the best benefits solutions for their employees.
Kathy went to the University of Portland, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in communications management. When not being an all-star account coordinator, she enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with her kids. Kathy grew up in Oregon, but now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.

She has more than 20 years of experience as an account manager and director, including at Montgomery & Graham and BCI Group before she joined the CapFi team. As a Senior Account Manager, she helps our clients understand and choose the right benefits packages based on their employees' needs.
Mandy went to Washington State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She grew up in Camas, WA, which is where she raised her three daughters and where she lives today. Mandy loves to volunteer at her church, travel, hit the beach, and flex her cornhole skills at family tournaments.
Melissa, an Account Specialist, brings a ton of knowledge and experience to our team. She enjoys navigating this ever-evolving field to help our clients make informed benefits decisions for their employees.
Before joining CapFi, Melissa gained valuable customer service skills while working on the sales team for a small brokerage firm and learning the ins and outs of the benefits industry. After that role, she was a manager for a floral shop for many years, where she developed her expertise in event planning and balancing customer needs with business objectives.
Melissa, who was born and raised in Oregon, received her business administration degree from Oregon State University. She still lives in her home state today with her family.
Outside of work, you might catch Melissa at a Seattle Mariners game. She also loves traveling, gardening, and bowling.
Phil has worked with more than 190 Arizona school districts dating back to 2003. When he realized that many districts were being underserviced by their benefits consultants, he decided to start his own firm – Capital Financial, PLC was founded in 2006. Since then, he has led business development for the company.
Phil graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has served as President on the university's Board of Alumni. He resides in Scottsdale with his wife and three children. Outside of the office, he is a car enthusiast and likes to golf.
Rob has extensive experience working with Arizona insurance carriers and vendors in a variety of industries. In 2010, his focus turned to Arizona school districts and has been an integral partner at CapFi ever since.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing at Arizona State University, and he serves on the Board of Directors for The Centurion Project. He and his wife, Carly, live in Scottsdale with their two children.
Shannon is the resident expert for all benefits-related coverage programs, having nearly two decades as an employee benefits marketing and proposal analyst. Her background includes roles for both large brokerages and small agencies, and she is licensed in life and health insurance in Arizona. In addition to creating renewal presentations for our clients, Shannon sends out RFPs and analyzes quotes for final proposals.
Shannon enjoys hiking, photography and travel. She lives in Goodyear with her husband and two sons.
Tricia joined CapFi in 2022 as an account specialist, and she brings extensive healthcare experience to our team. Her career in the industry began in 1997 as a claims specialist on the carrier side of the business. She then worked as a new business coordinator for a benefits agency for 15 years, where she handled quoting, service, and implementation. Tricia also has experience on the broker side, working directly with customers to help them find benefits packages that meet their families' needs - something that still motivates her today. Tricia is originally from Pueblo, CO, however, she's been an Arizonian since 2000. Tricia and her husband live in Phoenix and have three kids. Tricia hasn't forgotten her roots though, as she's a lifelong Denver Broncos fan. She also enjoys hiking and traveling.
